MCC offers a range of immersive young adult programs, including three that invite peacemakers from around the world to spend a pivotal year serving in the name of Christ while exploring a new country and culture.

MCC’s young adult programs have fostered generations of leaders and peacemakers, and have left a lasting impact on communities, host families and hundreds of partner organizations across the world. These programs include:

International Volunteer Exchange Program (IVEP), a yearlong cultural exchange and volunteer work opportunity for young Christian adults from outside the U.S. and Canada.

Serving and Learning Together (SALT), a yearlong, cross-cultural service experience for young Christian Canadian and U.S. citizens aged 18-30.

Young Anabaptist Mennonite Exchange Network (YAMEN), which invites young Christian adults (ages 18-30) from outside the U.S. and Canada to serve with MCC partners in locations outside the U.S. and Canada.

Seed, which offers two-year service opportunities in Bolivia, Colombia, Guatemala, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Seek, a six-month Christian discipleship program, currently based in Cambodia.

In the U.S., Summer Service builds leadership skills for young adults of color. In Canada, Summerbridge is a service opportunity for young adults of diverse cultural backgrounds.

We invite you to apply for these overseas or domestic service opportunities or to share them with a young adult who may be interested. In the U.S., explore opportunities to host an IVEPer at your home or organization.
