Lebanon: Emergency response

With the escalating violence in Lebanon, people’s lives are in danger and the need for basic necessities is great.

MCC partners have quickly mobilized in central Lebanon and Beirut to help as many displaced people as possible, providing ready-to-eat emergency meals, hygiene items, bedding, health services, hot meals and psychosocial support for children.

More than 2,000 people have been killed, more than 9,800 injured and an estimated 1.2 million people have been directly affected or displaced. The need is great - please give today. Your gift will have double the impact, with funds matched by the Government of Canada.

Every donation made by individual Canadians to the Humanitarian Coalition and its members is matched dollar for dollar to a maximum of $3 million dollars for donations made before November 3, 2024. MCC participates in the Humanitarian Coalition through our membership in Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
