What is the connection between climate and peace? How does the changing climate drive conflict or make it worse? Can peacebuilding help communities become more climate resilient? Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) and the Anabaptist Climate Collaborative (ACC) are hosting a Global Voices Speaking Tour in February 2026 to explore these questions.

This gala will spotlight the amazing story of Dr. Henry Dodford Dismukes, an African American physician in Kimball, West Virginia in the early 1900s. Funds raised at the gala will go directly towards rehabilitating the building that previously was the Henrietta Dismukes Nurses Home and has fallen into disrepair after decades of vacancy.
