You're Invited

You're cordially invited to join us for Strawberry Thanksgiving & Communion. We're thrilled to partner with Adrian Jacobs, Ganosono of the Turtle Clan Cayuga Nation, and Senior Leader for Indigenous Justice and Reconciliation with the Christian Reformed Church in North America. This special event is dedicated to the historic issue of land settlement on Six Nations Haldimand Tract.

We'll commence with a heartfelt ceremony of welcome and music to set the tone and our primary discussion will revolve around a proposal from 2007 for a Spiritual Covenant with Churches, delving into the complexities surrounding the Haldimand Tract lands and missing trust funds. This gathering presents an opportunity to collectively explore practical ways for the church to engage with these significant issues.

In addition to our discussions, we'll pause for a delicious lunch, featuring strawberries as a tribute to the first fruits in Haudenosaunee country.

This promises to be a day of meaningful dialogue, connection, and nourishment. We sincerely hope you'll join us for this pivotal conversation and celebration.
