Great Winter Warm-up Comforter Knotting Blitz

Get ready to cozy up at the Great Winter WarmUP! We’re inviting you, your friends and your family to our Material Resource Centre for a fun-filled comforter knotting blitz. Together, we’ll create handmade comforters that bring warmth and remind those in need that they are loved and cared for.

No experience? No problem! Whether you're a pro at knotting or trying it for the first time, everyone is welcome. Enjoy some hot beverages, connect with great people and help us spread warmth and comfort this winter. We can’t wait to see you there and share some warmth together!

We are inviting churches and comforter knotting groups to hold or attend comforter-knotting blitzes during January and February.
 

There are two ways to participate in this year's Great Winter Warm-up:

1. Host your own GWW comforter-knotting blitz. If your church plans to have its own event, we would love to know about it and send someone to visit. You can let us know about your event, including the date and time by emailing Justin here.
    
2. Drop in to the Material Resource (MR) centre in New Hamburg on January 25 from 9:00am - 4:00pm to participate in a comforter-knotting blitz. Knotters of all skills are welcome. Snacks and drinks provided. If you have questions, please contact Alecia here.

Last year, MCC shipped 53,601 comforters created by people like you to places like El Salvador, Malawi, Ukraine and Zambia. Your time and creative talents are helping to share the message of God’s love with those in need. Our goal is to create as many comforters as possible in this year's Great Winter Warm-up.
