Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim-majority country, is also home to Southeast Asia’s largest Mennonite community. Through partnerships, MCC supports the church and local partners in advancing interfaith peacebuilding and enhancing the livelihoods of marginalized communities.

This collaborative work highlights Indonesia’s rich religious diversity and shared commitment to inclusive, community-driven development.

Our work in Indonesia

MCC is working with a range of local partners — work that includes close collaboration with key partners Wahana Wijnamurti Indonesia and Yayasan Kerjasama Perdamaian dan Akademik Indonesia.

Projects range from trauma resilience, peacebuilding and community development to accompanying local groups as they navigate interfaith dialogue, rural health, climate resilience and economic development.
