Peace Sunday 2025

Every year on September 21, we celebrate the International Day of Peace. The theme for this year’s celebration, “Actions for peace: Our ambition for the #Global Goals,” reminds us of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a commitment undertaken in 2015 by various governments toward attaining global wellbeing with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals as a benchmark.

The story of the Good Samaritan is one of trauma and rescue. It invites us as men to explore our own journeys and encounters with enemies and apathy, compassion and community. At this one-day retreat, we will reflect on this and more in a context of worship, prayer, conversation and listening to the Spirit.
