In the face of mass deportations of immigrants, pulling them from family and community, and the closing of U.S. refugee programs, MCC U.S. continues its long-standing work to respond to Christ’s call to welcome the stranger. This is done through legal services and other forms of direct support to immigrants, responding to urgent questions from congregations and individuals facing the threat of deportation, and resourcing churches.

In addition to immigration work in the U.S., MCC also supports migrant shelters on both sides of the border and works with migrant and refugee populations in many other countries.
