In South Sudan, conflict and flooding have cut off access to many basic necessities.

With a gift today, you can provide emergency support, like food, to those who need it most.

In countries like South Sudan, many people are pastoralists — earning an income from raising sheep and cattle.

But conflict and historic levels of flooding have made their way of life impossible.

Now, many people live in internally displaced persons (IDP) camps with no land, no livestock and no way to provide for their families.

That’s why, together with the local church, we are providing monthly emergency food baskets to the families in greatest need.

These baskets include food items like sorghum, beans, cooking oil and salt. Providing one basket for one family costs about $113.

“Sorghum is what’s helped our family survive,” says 18-year-old Martha, a resident of Rubkona IDP Camp in Unity State, South Sudan.

“This food helps my siblings and I get the nourishment we need.”

Will you consider if you’re able to share your blessings with families who are caught in conflict without enough to eat?

Your generosity will provide relief in places like South Sudan.
