Rocky Mountain Mennonite Relief Sale

The Rocky Mountain MCC Relief Sale is an annual sale in Rocky Ford, Colorado, to raise money and support for the relief, development, and peace work of Mennonite Central Committee. It is a joint effort of over 30 Mennonite and Brethren in Christ congregations in Colorado, New Mexico, and West Texas.

We'd love to have you join us! ​ There are five different auctions, a morning 5K run, plenty of great food and Mennonite favorites, as well as booths for pies, quilters, arts, and plants.

Friday:

5:00 - 7:00 PM

Dinner: Catch the shuttle to Rocky Ford’s Gobin Center, located 6 blocks south of the Fairgrounds.

Some booths are open. General and Quilt Auction items available for viewing.

7:00 - 9:00 PM

Register for the 5K Run for Relief.

7:30 PM

Opening Program in the General Auction Building.

Saturday:

7:00 - 9:30 AM

Breakfast: Catch the shuttle to Rocky Ford’s Gobin Center.
  * Gluten free pancakes will be available.

8:00 AM

Booths open.

Register for the General/Quilt Auctions.

5K (3.1 mile) Run for Relief

9:30 AM

General Auction begins with the sale of the symbolic loaf of bread.

Register for the Kids’ Auction for ages 5-15 (with parental assistance).

10:00 AM

Silent Auction at the General Auction Building begins (ends at 11:00 AM).

Kid’s Auction at the 4-H Building begins (ends at 11:00 AM).

11:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Lunch: Catch the shuttle to Rocky Ford’s Gobin Center.

1:00 PM

Auction of the Tractor.

1:30 PM

Quilt Auction begins with the singing of ‘Praise God from Whom all Blessings Flow.’ The public is invited to join in.
