Tour the MCC Meat Cannery

We're opening our doors with welcome to give you an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the MCC Meat Cannery, which celebrated its grand opening in January of this year. The facility in New Hamburg is the only one of its kind in Canada to can and ship thousands of cans of meat to countries like the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The MCC Hub is also the national headquarters of all shipments of kits sent to countries like Ukraine, Zambia and others.

Discover how a small kit or can of meat can have a lasting impact.

Fun for the whole family

Doors Open at the MCC Hub will take place alongside our annual Bucket of Thanks event, so there's fun for all ages!

  • Tour the MCC Hub and the MCC Meat Cannery
  • Taste a sample of meat prepared in the cannery
  • Pack a relief kit that will be shipped overseas
  • Kids will enjoy a bouncy castle, face painting and snacks
  • Canned meat available for purchase in support of the cannery
