Bike Michiana Project: India Water Projects
Bike Michiana funds will be designated to help provide access to clean water for villagers in rural communities in the Odisha region of India for use in homes and agriculture. MCC partners with Institute of Social Action and Research Activities (ISARA) and the villagers in Diversion Based Irrigation projects to pipe water from springs and streams in the hills, bringing it to the village where it impacts the health, social, and economic security of families in the village. Les Gustafson-Zook and Claude Schrock were able to visit several of these communities in early 2025 and are looking forward to sharing photos and stories of people they met.

Cost
The fee for the weekend is $150 per adult. This includes cabin lodging, maps, SAG, T-shirt and meals Sat-Sun. Friday supper is available for an additional $15. Registration fees cover Amigo Centre's cost of coordinating and hosting the event. Riders are encouraged to collect donations to support MCC's 'Water for the Future' project in Bolivia. Donation checks should be made out to MCC with Bike Michiana in the memo line.
