MCC Alberta
From across the province to around the world, MCC Alberta envisions a world in right relationship with God, each other, and creation. By working with local churches and community groups, we welcome the stranger through refugee resettlement, we walk alongside the incarcerated as they seek to live reintegrated lives, and we connect people with the work of relief, development, and peace through four Thrift Shops in Taber, Lethbridge, Calgary, & Edmonton.

Join us for events across the province.

Indigenous Neighbours
The Indigenous Neighbours program works to build respectful relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
We value our partnerships with Indigenous community groups and the knowledge they provide to help guide our work.

Kits and Comforters
When you send kits and comforters to people in the midst of conflict, disaster or poverty, you provide a tangible reminder that their needs matter.
Collecting and shipping supplies such as school and hygiene kits, infant and relief kits, comforters, and other materials is a hands-on way we share God's love and help those in need.
You can help by making and donating kits, hosting a kit-making event, and volunteering at the MCC Alberta Warehouse.

Workshops and Experiences
Book a learning experience with one of our staff for your small group, community group, school group, or youth group.
Our workshops and experiences introduce practical, engaging approaches to the inspiring work of relief, development and peace.

Migration and Refugees
Since 1979, MCC Canada has worked with private sponsorship groups to help refugees start a new life in Canada.
In Alberta, MCC works with local churches and partners to assist newcomers in the resettlement process.

Grow Hope
Help bring food security to vulnerable families around the world by sponsoring a local farm acre!
Since 2017, MCC Alberta has partnered with local farmers and Canadian Foodgrains Bank to unite the province’s urban and rural communities and raise funds to help end world hunger.
Your support provides conservation agriculture training and tools, as well as emergency food assistance to families facing food insecurity worldwide.
