We are working to change long-term social relationships so that settlers live as good neighbors with Indigenous peoples, as envisioned by the Treaties.

We work to increase positive awareness and interaction with Indigenous people and perspectives, and advocate together for justice. 

The Indigenous Neighbours program facilitates:
 

• Promoting understanding of and justice for landless bands, particularly through showings of relevant documentary films.
• Partnering with the Office of the Treaty Commissioner on educational sessions and other projects. 
   

Peacebuilding is a theme that runs through all we do in Saskatchewan. We work to create more peace-filled spaces for communities and individuals - places where people can address past harms, seek positive ways forward and create hope-filled relationships. 

Our peacebuilding program provides trauma awareness training and equips constituency groups to respond to trauma and prevent future harm. We promote understanding of restorative justice principles and practices and the realities of the criminal justice system. 

The Den is a youth program that provides safe, free and inclusive after-school and summer programs in Meadowgreen, Saskatoon. Historically, this neighborhood has experienced higher rates of discrimination and reduced community resources that create barriers for children and youth.  

We teach peace and conflict resolution skills and facilitate learning on issues such as racism, bullying, social media and healthy relationships. We’re based in Meadowgreen House For All Nations church and partner with [W.P. Bate Community School] and the [Mennonite Youth Farm].
