Climate change adaptation

In Zimbabwe’s rural communities, climate change, compounded by deforestation, has damaged local ecosystems and made it harder for households to meet their basic needs.

The Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Locally Led Indigenous Nature-based Solutions for Climate Change Adaptation in Zimbabwe (LINCZ) project was designed to address these challenges by strengthening community resilience while restoring the natural environment. This project is funded by Global Affairs Canada.
