Registration Deadline: January 15, 2026
Registration Fee: $1000 (covers food, lodging, and local transportation during the learning tour; does not include airfare)
Through direct encounters and conversations with people and partner organizations:
- You will explore causes and motives for migration, as well as the experiences of people who migrate
- You will experience the cultural vitality, diversity, and interconnectedness of borderland communities that are home to people of different backgrounds, languages, and places of origin
- You will see the impact of border militarization and other policies that aim to deter border crossings or deny the right to asylum
- You will encounter Anabaptists and people of other faith communities who are actively involved in peacebuilding, relief, and development in the borderlands
- You will engage in theological reflection as you determine your own responses to the complexities and realities of migration in the borderlands and in your own communities.
