The Art of Everyday Peace

At this year's Peace Conference, you'll get an opportunity to practice the art of everyday peace. You'll learn how changing the narrative can result in greater optimism, hope and inspiration, as well as the role you can play in making peacebuilding both a local and global reality.

As faithful followers of Christ, we are called to build toward right relationships here in our own contexts, as well as around the world. In a church and a world increasingly polarized, practical skills of conflict transformation and healthy dialogue are fundamental tools for living out a life of peace.

Amid human brokenness and conflict, MCC supports peacebuilding initiatives that seek to improve relationships and address root causes of conflict in order to prevent, reduce or recover from violent conflict. This conference will share practices and skills from what we are mutually learning with local and global partners as we do peace-building work.

Choose how and where you attend

Attend in person, at home remotely or at a local watch party in Niagara, Leamington or Markham. Remote watch party attendees receive the same programming as in-person attendees (activities, lunch, etc). MCC hosts will be on-site at the watch parties. We want to encourage those residing in the remote watch party areas to consider attending one - but everyone is welcome to attend the location of their choice.

Kids programming will be made available in partnership with Silver Lake Mennonite Camp at the Kitchener location only.
