Your participation in this event will help students like Momita, Pallabi and Amrita to access an education that once felt out of reach due to poverty and language barriers.

For six-year-old Pallabi Kisku, an Indigenous Santal student in rural Bangladesh, poverty and language barriers made learning difficult. But through an MCC partner, she now attends Tatihati Multilingual Education
Preschool, where she learns in her native language. This support
helps prevent Indigenous children – who face a 60% dropout rate – from
leaving school early. With teachers who understand her needs, Pallabi is gaining the confidence to succeed while preserving her language and culture.

When children learn, communities transform. MCC works with local partners to strengthen access to education for vulnerable families, improve education quality, promote vocational and leadership programs, and build strong community support for schools.
