MCC is a global, nonprofit organization that strives to share God’s love and compassion for all through relief, development and peacebuilding.

Jacqueline Kafuti was the primary person in the Kanzombi area of the city of Kikwit, DR Congo, to coordinate an emergency response and resettlement of displaced people with the support of CEFMC.

With our partners at the heart of our work, we are responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice around the world. This is what we do, and it’s who we are.

MCC history

MCC was formed in 1920 to provide food for families suffering from famine and disease in southern Russia (present-day Ukraine). We soon expanded our mission.

Over 100 years later, with your support, we’re honored to work for relief, development and peace all over the world.

We continue to serve and empower communities, embodying our commitment to compassion in the name of Christ.
