The prevalence of diarrheal diseases, cholera, malaria and malnutrition is high in Mosho III village in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

A water, sanitation and hygiene project is run by Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), partner Communauté des Églises de Frères Mennonites au Congo (CEFMC; Mennonite Brethren Church of Congo). The goal is to improve the health of those living in the area by building sanitary latrines and installing water collection and storage devices.
