MCC actively participates in the NGO Working Group on the Security Council, a group of 39 major NGOs which meets regularly with members of the United Nations Security Council, the UN’s most powerful body. Meetings in recent months have included ambassadors from France, the European Union, and Norway. MCC has raised concerns including regarding Haiti, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Korean peninsula.
