An MCC partner organization, the Mengo Hospital Home Care and Counselling Clinic, provides physical, emotional and spiritual care for people living with HIV in and around the city of Kampala, Uganda.
Say Sophal purchased this new sewing machine with help from her older sister to start a tailoring business as a way to support and care for her disabled grandparents. Sophal completed a vocational sewing and tailoring program at Mesang High School in Cambodia. MCC’s Global Family education sponsorship program assists the endeavor.
