MCC East Coast distributes prisoner care kits at a detention center in Philadelphia through the ministry of MCC staff member and prison chaplain, Ron Muse. Pictured inmate Edward* receives a prison care kit from Ron. MCC encourages supporters to create kits, which contain essential hygiene supplies, socks and underwear, to help meet the basic human needs of inmates. (*Last name not used for security reasons.)

MCC prisoner care kits help meet the basic needs of men and women who are incarcerated. Make a difference in your local area by collecting and packing prisoner care kit items that will restore hope, dignity and mental health to these individuals.

747 MCC prisoner care kits were distributed last year to incarcerated men in North Philadelphia.
