Mennonite Central Committee is registered as a nonprofit charitable organization in both Canada and the United States, making donations to MCC tax deductible.
Mennonite Central Committee U.S. (MCC U.S.) is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation and is exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). MCC is considered an "association of churches" within the meaning of section 170(b)(i)(A)(i) of the IRC and thus is exempt from filing form 990. MCC financial records are audited by independent auditors in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America.
