Internships at the MCC NPJM allow students and recent graduates to learn about the legislative issues that form the basis for MCC's work in Washington and to participate in all aspects of office life and work.

About internships:

We offer three internship terms each year. The dates for each are flexible and depend on the selected intern’s availability. Longer internships of 2-3 terms will also be considered, based on the intern’s interest and the office’s needs. Internships are part-time (20-25 hours/week).

  • Summer Term (June-August); applications will be reviewed starting April 1.
  • Fall Term (Sept-Dec); applications will be reviewed starting July 1.
  • Winter/Spring Term (Jan-April); applications will be reviewed starting November 1.

To apply:

Job descriptions for open internships will be posted here three months prior to the start of each internship.

Please note that internships are unpaid. Interns are responsible for their own room/board. NPJM will make a modest contribution toward the cost of local transportation.
