The SALT/YAMENer will conduct field research with MCC Nepal’s partner organization, the Rural Institute for Community Development (RICOD). A research topic will be selected in consultation with RICOD, and focused on the areas of small-scale agriculture, kitchen gardening and/or nutrition.  The participant will also assist RICOD with English-language editing, documentation and reporting as needed.  RICOD’s work focuses on improving nutrition and health behaviors among mothers and children, enhancing dietary diversity through kitchen gardens, and supporting mothers’ groups to access savings and loans.
