The SALT/YAMENer will serve alongside West Bengal Voluntary Health Association (WBVHA) assisting with projects for victims of gender-based violence (GBV). There may be opportunities to be involved in other WBVHA projects as well.

The SALT/YAMENer will serve alongside Dhamtari Christian College Hospital (DCH), assisting the Demonstrator and tutors in planning, organizing, and tutoring nursing students. They will also teach English and computers to develop the skills of the nursing students.

The SALT/YAMENer will serve alongside World Outreach Initiatives (WOI) assisting in the areas of health clinic management and communications. The participant will focus on improving the systems and daily management of two health clinics in Bujumbura.

SALT/YAMEN: Mental Health Activities Coordinator – KOSHISH

Kathmandu, Nepal

 The SALT/YAMENers will serve alongside staff at KOSHISH Transit Home for women facing mental health problems. The primary focus of the participant is to complete formal research through a local university on the barriers facing women with mental health problems in Nepali society.

  The SALT/YAMENer will serve at the Olepolos Health Dispensary in all areas including its social programs which seek to positively impact the health and lives of those who come to receive treatment and the community at large.

  The SALT/YAMENer will serve with the Center for Peace and Nationhood (CPN) by supporting the project officers with project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. CPN is the development arm of the Diocese of Nairobi of the Kenya Mennonite Church.

The SALT/YAMENer will assist the staff at the Guía de Paz rehabilitation center to assist Low German Mennonite (LGM) patients seeking treatment for alcohol and/or drug addiction.

This position is responsible for managing the reporting process for all partners and MCC Bolivia programing. This requires gathering, reviewing, and translating of all MCC partner reports, and entering all necessary information into MCC’s PMER database platform.
