Each year since 1946, MCC has sent out a mobile meat canner, which MCC workers and volunteers use to preserve hundreds of thousands of cans of meat for communities in need across the globe.

The SALT/YAMENer will serve with the Diocesan Community Development Support (DCDS) assisting with the implementation of a Food Security and Sustainable Livelihood Project. The participant will help to address gaps in the areas of documentation, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation.
SALT/YAMEN: Agriculture Extension Intern – ECHO East Africa Ltd
The SALT/YAMENer will walk alongside ECHO East Africa Ltd, assisting by offering skills and best practices to the staff while learning about how agriculture and community development can really work well on the ground in East Africa.
SALT/YAMEN: Development Assistant – ODOV

The SALT/YAMENer will serve with Organization to Develop Our Villages (ODOV), helping them to extend the organization’s outreach by assisting with project fundraising and reporting, as well as researching grant opportunities.
SALT/YAMEN: Visibility & Communications Assistant – MIDI
