The MCC Representative(s) for Ukraine will provide leadership and programmatic direction to the Ukraine program. With the Russian military invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 the program is focused on providing short term humanitarian relief to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host families. The Representative(s) will also oversee the long term response to the ongoing crisis, focusing on support for Ukrainian partners, in consultation with Area Directors and other relevant MCC staff. The Representative(s) will be working in an environment that will require flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances while managing a dispersed staff who are under stress due to the conflict and their own displacement.

An MCC Rep role may be filled with a married couple sharing the role, with a single person, or with a married candidate whose spouse is not interested in a Rep role, in which case MCC would discuss possible roles for the spouse. MCC will consider a variety of options to support the Rep in their roles and responsibilities, based on the qualified candidates who apply.
