The Community Engagement Coordinator is part of the West Coast Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) team that will run the day-to-day operations of the Global Center in Reedley, California 2, 8-hour days per week on Friday and Saturday, hours negotiable. This position will ensure guests, clients, and volunteers, alike, are engaged with MCC and its mission to their fullest potential.
Under the supervision of the Global Center Manager, this position will strategically engage partner organizations, schools, and churches in the area in Global MCC relief, development, and peace initiatives. This can include projects like the annual Relief Sale at Fresno Pacific University, kit-building with local groups, philanthropy, and more. This position will contribute to the local team by building a stronger presence for MCC in Reedley, the Central Valley, and beyond.
