The Canning and Trucking Manager will direct the MCC Mobile Canning Operations. This position encompasses significant responsibility in a number of areas: ensuring regulatory compliance with government agencies; supervising all canning and related operations; and relating to a broad and diverse set of constituents, agency officials, and MCC staff. The position directly supervises a four- person canning crew, the Material Resources, Canning and Fleet Coordinator, and relates closely to the various canning committees in the US and Canada. This position also indirectly oversees over 30,000 volunteers annually who are involved in the various canning tasks. This position is a primary contact, and sometimes the only contact, to MCC’s constituency that supports meat canning.
