This December, in partnership with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) and the Pennsylvania Relief Sale, the Walking Roots Band is excited to announce a Christmas music benefit concert in Lancaster, Pa. to support MCC’s development efforts around the world.
One example of this work is happening in Bangladesh, where an MCC partner called Pobitra is helping hundreds of women move out of the sex industry by offering a safe haven to learn job skills—truly singing light into darkness.
Join us on December 7th at 7:00 PM for this Christmas benefit concert, with refreshments to follow. Concert admission is free with seats available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please come prepared to show financial support for MCC during a short intermission.
Thank you for supporting MCC’s development work around the world, and we look forward to joining with you in singing light into the darkness.
