Saturday, June 22, 2019 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Join MCC for a casual come-and-go open house with MCC Area Directors for Central and West Africa, Bruce and Betsy Headrick McCrae! Join us when you can, but don't miss Bruce and Betsy's presentation at 3 p.m.

Their work includes programs in Rwanda/Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Chad and Burkina Faso.  Bruce and Betsy supervise the MCC representatives who are in charge of MCC program in these countries. But they also work with the MCC Area Directors for East Africa and Southern Africa to coordinate MCC’s work on the continent.

Before taking this MCC assignment, Betsy was pastor at Glennon Heights Mennonite Church in Lakewood, Colorado.

Please RSVP for this event so we can plan accordingly, on or before June 19.

Nwobi Onyeka Annabel presents a poem, "In the Atmosphere of Peace", at the St.Louis College Peace Club in Jos, Nigeria in March 2018. Peace Clubs started in Lusaka, Zambia in 2006, as a means to create a culture of peace within schools. The Peace Clubs curriculum has been shared throughout Africa, including in Nigeria, and there are now more than 100 Peace Clubs across Plateau State, Nigeria, thanks to the work of MCC partner Emergency Preparedness and Response Team.
