Bike Michiana Project
This year’s Bike Michiana project helps Haitian farmers mitigate the effects of climate change through supporting reforestation and gardening programs through MCC partner Konbit Peyizan in the Artibonite region of Haiti. Your donations will assist local farmers with starter seeds and tree seedlings from the local nurseries, build soil conservation structures, participate in group trainings and receive one-on-one agricultural support and advice to establish productive agroforestry gardens.

Konbit Peyizan also engages farmers in group savings and income generating activities like weaving handicrafts out of palm, raising livestock, home gardens and microbusiness. Former Haiti Country Representative, Paul Shetler Fast will be joining our group to share more about this exciting program on Saturday evening. Thank you for supporting this valuable work in Haiti!
