Take Action

Tell Congress to pass Savanna's Act!

Background: Savanna's Act has recently passed out of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs. If passed, this legislation would help law enforcement officers to respond and track cases of missing and murdered Native women and girls.

Native women and girls are murdered at a rate 10 times the national average. Savanna's Act is named after Savanna LaFontaine Greywind, a pregnant Native woman who was missing and found brutally murdered in August 2017.

Congress must act to pass Savanna's Act before the year ends!

Faith reflection: "When it is in your power, don't withhold good from the one to whom it belongs." Proverbs 3:27

Action: Tell Congress to pass Savanna's Act.
