Jake's story: A legacy of giving

By MCC Staff

The Redekop family has a story to tell. It’s a story of faith and compassion that resonates through each generation.

In 1943, Jake Redekop and his family began a difficult journey from Ukraine. With the assistance of Mennonite Central Committee, they arrived at their new home in Canada. Throughout their lives, the family modeled their gratitude through a legacy of giving.

Carlee Redekop, Jake’s grandchild, reflects on how these stories have influenced her life and why it’s so important to share them.
