Immigration Program

West Coast MCC staff is here to offer a safe environment to assist immigrant families with their documentation needs. We provide them with information on current programs, fees and deadlines and help them complete forms needed to establish legal residency, pursue citizenship and provide consultation on various other immigration issues.
We monitor legislation relating to immigrants and advocate for policies that treat immigrants with dignity, justice and respect. In the churches and communities where we work, we educate people about the challenges and injustices faced by immigrants, encouraging a Christ-like response to all.

When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 19:33-34

The West Coast MCC Immigration Program seeks to demonstrate the spirit of God’s love and grace to welcome the newcomer, to build awareness, to advocate and to find constructive responses to the needs, concerns and unjust systems faced by immigrants on the West Coast.
