About Us

From offices in Central California as well as Southern California and Portland, Oregon, West Coast MCC connects with the Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches of the western states. In addition to fostering programs and partnerships that address needs within the region, we work with the churches to support MCC’s work in more than 50 countries around the world, meeting human need in the name of Christ.

 

Mission Statement

West Coast Mennonite Central Committee strives to foster life-giving relationships of peace, justice, and dignity among all people in the name of Christ by:
- partnering with Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches,
- supporting the worldwide mission of MCC,
- providing opportunities for mutual exchange and learning that encourage churches and individuals to respond to people in need,
- participating in partnerships that empower the lives of marginalized people.
