Valerie is the Legislative Fellow for domestic and international affairs. Her work is focused on issues pertaining to refugee and internally displaced persons, specifically in the Middle East and Colombia, as well as domestic refugee and asylum issues. She is a recent graduate (2007) of Messiah College, PA with a B.A. in Politics and a minor in TESOL. Valerie was born on an island off the west penninsula of Malaysia, has lived and studied in Eastern & Western Europe & the United States.
