SWAP takes a year-round effort from manydedicated individuals, from planning and adminstration to front-line operations at our five SWAP locations. Here's a brief look at the people who work diligently to make SWAP a success:
Duane Beachey, MCC Appalachia Program Co-CoordinatorDuane has worked with home-repair ministries for most of his adult life, written extensively, and also spent seven years as pastor of San Antonio Mennonite Church. Duane approaches his work in Appalachia with a heart for social ministry and seemingly endless energy reserves. 
Gloria Beachey, MCC Appalachia Program Co-CoordinatorGloria brings many years of adult basic education experience to her work with MCC. While Duane concentrates on communications and construction, Gloria oversees office operations at MCC Appalachia. 
Colettia Estep, MCC Appalachia Administrative AssistantIf you've contacted SWAP with questions, you've probably talked to Colettia for the answers. Colettia handles SWAP administration, including group bookings, administration, and communications with SWAP Location Coordinators. She really is that person behind the scenes that makes everything run as smoothly as possible. 
Sharman Chapman-Crane, Community Economic Support WorkerWhen she's not busy working with MCC community partners, Sharman handles many of the financial duties for SWAP. |
