Country Music Highway Directions to Isom
SWAP Groups heading to our Isom locationtypically travel along these routes:
Interstate 81 to Highway 58 ALTSWAP volunteers travelling south along Interstate 81 should use these Mapquest directions, starting at Abingdon, VA's "D Quick Stop" gas station at exit 17 on I-81. Here are some specific directions you can follow once you reach Whitesburg, KY: From the North/East follow 119 into Whitesburg. You will by pass most of town and tee into 15 at a stop light. Turn left and drive for fifteen minutes. Next you will see a sign that says "tourist info" on the right and see a gazebo on the left. Turn there, go under the train tracks and you will see the church on the right. If you miss that turn you should turn left as soon as you cross the train tracks. 
I64 to Highway 15SWAP volunteers travelling via Lexington, KY to our Isom location should follow these directions, beginning westbound on I-64 as it passes Kenova, WV at the Kentucky border. Once you are 20 minutes past Hazard you will arrive in Isom. Turn right immediately before the large wooden "welcome to Isom" sign. The church is a on the hill about a quarter mile down on the left.
