Peace Advocacy

Eileen Klassen Hamm - Coordinator

The Peace and Justice programming at MCCS grows from our calling to a ministry of reconciliation in our local context. All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Cor 5:18. Our programs focus on: Aboriginal Neighbours, Equity (anti-racism and gender analysis), HealthLink, Kanadier/Low German Community, Peace Advocacy, Refugee Assistance, Restorative Justice, and Youth and Young Adult Community. All of our programming shares commitments of: nurturing relationships, embracing diversity, restoring relationships, economic care and justice, earth care, and peacemaking and conflict resolution.
