Poverty Reduction Consultations in Ontario

Thanks to the efforts of many people across Ontario, the Provincial Government has promised to develop a comprehensive poverty reduction strategy. The Government has launched a process of community consultations to get public input on the plan.

You have an important role to play in letting the Government know you support their pledge to reduce poverty. You can also encourage the government to take bold steps that can help lift people out of poverty. Here is how.

Let the Government know your thoughts

The Government of Ontario has launched province-wide consultations to help design a comprehensive poverty reduction strategy.

There are many ways you can give input to the poverty reduction consultation.

  • Complete the on-line questionnaire on the Government's Poverty Reduction website.
  • E-mail your thoughts directly to the Government
  • Phone-in your comments toll-free: 1-866-614-5953
  • Fax: (416) 314-0367
  • Write to the Government at:
    Growing Stronger Together
    Whitney Block, Room 4620
    99 Wellesley Street West
