Rock the Talk

We want you for a new project called "Rock the Talk" - it's all about proclaiming peace and countering militarism.

Rocking the talk

Rocking the talk means...

shifting the "talk" of the Christian peacemaking gospel into overdrive. This is breathtaking and positive stuff.

Rocking the talk

Rocking the talk means...

rocking (questioning, resisting) the language of militarism and the recruitment message of the Canadian Forces in particular.

Rocking the talk

Rocking the talk means...

grounding our work in the Rock that is our God and the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Canadian Forces at the Memorial Cup

As part of the Memorial Cup events, thousands of elementary students were bused to the Kitchener Auditorium where they viewed hockey displays, played table hockey, and walked outside the Auditorium where they received free Canadian Forces paraphernalia such as lanyards, stickers, hockey pucks, and posters. Children could then take turns looking through the sights of a large Howitzer gun or climbing into the driver’s seat of an
armoured jeep.

Read the open letter to school administrators from MCC staff.

Watch for further information about the upcoming letter campaign responding to concerns about highschool military co-op programs.
