New
Wine/New Wineskins: Great Lakes regional meetings
It's an exciting time at Mennonite Central Committee, and as
someone interested in MCC, you are invited to help shape the
future of MCC!
New Wine/New Wineskins: Reshaping MCC for the 21st Century
will engage all MCC stakeholders in discerning God's direction
by creating a common vision and revised structure for MCC.
The process will incorporate the voices and best ideas of the
entire MCC community around the globe. It holds the potential
to unify MCC and increase its capacity for meaningful impact
around the world.
New Wineskins is a reshaping process focused on consultation
with constituents and mission partners, an MCC guiding principal
in its mission over the past 88 years. For more information,
visit mcc.org/newwineskins.
In the Great Lakes region, you have six opportunities to participate
in a regional meeting. There is no preparation work required
- simply come to one of the meetings. During the meeting, you
will be seated at a table with a variety of other MCC constituents
and engage in dialogue on a series of topics. As you discuss
the various questions, each individual around the table is encouraged
to share their views on the current state of MCC and your hope
for the future of MCC.
Each regional meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and finish by
early afternoon. A light lunch will be provided. Please RSVP
to MCC Great Lakes as soon as possible (at least three weeks
prior to the gathering date) to let us know which meeting you
will be attending: (574) 534-4133 or GreatLakesOffice@mcc.org.
