Kingdom Equipped Youth

The Christian Churches in Cambodia are playing a vital role in meeting some of the most basic needs of their youth. Evangelical Fellowship of Cambodia-Kingdom Equipped Youth (EFC-KEY) seeks to provide opportunities and experiences for youth in leadership that will go beyond what the churches are doing. EFC-KEY offers Christian youth, who are a minority in Cambodia, ways to network and get further training in a holistic program that combines all aspects of their training and is focused on the values of the Christian Church and the Kingdom of God. Global Family funds enable youth to attend the annual Christian Youth Leaders' Camp as well as ongoing training programs throughout the year such as Diamond Project and Training of Trainers.

The Kingdom Equipped Youth's programming focuses on education in areas most relevant to youth, not only youth who are active in the EFC churches but also in the other groups.

Unfortunately, youth ministry is often not the priority of many church leaders because culture pulls them to focus on the needs of elders and families. The Youth Commission is trying to fill this gap by training and encouraging young people to become Christian leaders in the church and their communities.

Global Family funds enable youth to attend the annual Christian Youth Leaders' Camp as well as ongoing seminars and training programs throughout the year.
