1. Find a position you’re interested in
Look through MCC’s list of open positions and find one that matches your interests and experience.
2. Send us your resume and letter of intent
If there is a contact person listed in the job description, send your cover letter and resume directly to them. Otherwise use the online submission form. Make sure to tell us why you are interested in serving with MCC and how your skills and experience are a good match for the position.
3. Confirmation and follow-up
Once we’ve received your resume and cover letter, you will get a confirmation from MCC. If we decide you might be a good fit for the position, you’ll be asked to complete an application and we will collect your references.
After we’ve received your full application, you may be asked to do one or two interviews to determine if you meet our requirements and if you are a good fit for the position.
The application process for salaried positions usually takes six to eight weeks.
For long-term volunteer positions, the process can last several months, so it’s best to start looking six to nine months before you want to start.
