MCC is seeking individuals to teach English under Mennonite Partners in China (MPC), formerly known as China Educational Exchange, in universities and teacher’s colleges in various locations within the People's Republic of China. This position is supervised by the MCC Representative for NE Asia.
Placements beginning January 2015 for university professors on sabbatical will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The teacher's college in China will provide an apartment and a monthly allowance of 4,000 yuan (approximately US$665). The allowance is enough to cover food and other incidental living costs during the semester. Participants will need to cover their own passport and visa costs, international airfare, orientation and travel in China. Total estimated cost per person is US$6,000. Health insurance and medical costs are the responsibility of the participant.
