Each year since 1946, MCC has sent out a mobile meat canner, which MCC workers and volunteers use to preserve hundreds of thousands of cans of meat for communities in need across the globe.

At the home of Margarita Roblero, 24 in the village of Las Maravillas, the family is able to grow vegetables year round with a drip irrigation system that was made possible by MCC.

MCC's Global Family education sponsorship program supports a school on the grounds of St. Raphael's Orphanage, Baromari, in eastern Bangladesh, which serves girls, most from the Garo, Koch and Hajong ethnic groups.

SALT/YAMEN!: Art/Music/Drama Teacher or Sports Tutor

The SALT/YAMENer will work at a private elementary school teaching either music/art/drama or sports. S/he will also instruct students in the technical aspects of music or sport, conduct rehearsals/regular sport trainings, and evaluate student performance.

This SALT/YAMENer would be working alongside and supervised by the local youth leader to plan and organize youth activities and outreach with the Evangelical Mennonite Church of El Salvador (IEMES).

The SALT/YAMENer will work at a child care center in Perquín to prepare and develop educational and peace formation activities for children and to provide educational reinforcement at a local childcare center though MCC partner, ANADES.

The SALT/YAMENer will be seconded to the Talita Cumi Children's Home to work alongside other staff members with the daily care of the children who reside in the home as well as office tasks related to the sponsorship program.
