Baltimore Youth Distribute Comforters to RefugeesAKRON, Pa. – When Kholiwe Vundla knotted comforters for Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), she didn't know that her youth group would be giving similar comforters to refugees in her own community. 
MCC Launches New Seed Program for Young AdultsJanuary 2009, Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) will launch the Seed program, a two-year program for young adults aged 20-30. The program, composed of international teams, will focus on the components of service, reflection and advocacy. It will begin in Colombia, and then expand to other locations. 
Canners begin the 2008-09 seasonAKRON, Pa. – Mennonite Center Committee's (MCC) four-person canning crew hits the road this month for its annual meat canning effort. Between October and the end of April the mobile meat canner will visit 13 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces. |
